Doesn’t seem right so I’m going into denial and playing Thrice all day long.
I got to hang out with my good friends Thrice last night and sing a song with them. I forget how much I like screaming/performing until I do it again.

Around 4 or 5 years ago I had the opportunity of going on tour with Thrice and it was a great experience and a ton of fun. More importantly, over the month-long tour I really got to know the members of the band and have since been good friends with them.
Now I usually only see them when they come through Chicago on tour once or twice a year, but it’s always great. And last night when they played and asked me to sing a song with them I was thrilled. I haven’t screamed in over three years and it was exhilarating to be on stage, if only briefly, with friends.
I think back on the time I spent with them fondly and hold it in high regard as one of my favorite times in my life.
